In 2017-2018, I was a Fulbright Scholar to Iceland. My project was titled "Freshwater and Marine Snails as Parasite Biodiversity Indicators in Iceland". I was lucky enough to travel all over the island in search of snails, trudging through streams, lakes, and the ocean. While there, I fell in love with culture, the landscape, and parasites.
